Guests entering the unique Kalarabia Lodge are greeted with the stunning views and rich colour of the Nama Karoo. FM Safaris Private Game Ranch forms part of the Green Kalahari, consisting of approximately 35 000 acres of Natural Wonder. The Game Ranch has a very unique variety of vegetation types, which broadly classified into Nama Karoo, Kalahari and Karoo mountain vegetation. This variety of vegetation creates rich biodiversity, which provide suitable habitats for a wide variety of fauna and flora.

Guests visiting our Ranch in South Africa need to book their international flights into Johannesburg and a one hour forty minute link to Upington. Remember, the Northern Cape is the safest region in South Africa and is also malaria free.

Guests will be met by our lodge personnel at Upington airport where your Kalahari experience begins. For the utmost convenience you can charter direct to FM Safaris where a luxury vehicle will escort you to the Kalarabia Hunting Lodge,  where you will be met by our friendly staff in the traditional Kalarabia way.
